These mini ferro toggles area an easy to carry backup firestarting tool that are a great addition to include with your camping, backpacking or hiking gear. The 5/16" diameter x 1-1/4" long "micro" ferro rods feature two drilled holes that will accommodate standard 550 paracord so they can be used as a toggle, necklace, bracelet, etc. They are manufactured using our special PyroStryke alloy that can produce a small showering of intense fire making sparks when struck with a steel striker, pocket knife or other sharp metal object. Due to their the small size, it's not intended or recommended as a primary fire-starting option, but its convenient, easy-to-carry features make it a great back up option when you're on the go.
